American Fork City recently updated its park strip and tree regulations to make planting requirements clearer and continue to help protect sidewalks, streets, utilities, and public safety.

The updates provide clearer guidance on which trees can be planted based on park strip width, required planting distances, and maintenance responsibilities. They also clarify how existing trees are addressed under the new standards.

💧Meeting tonight! 💧

American Fork City is hosting a community town hall tonight for residents to hear about the new rates, learn about how they may affect you, and participate in a discussion with city leaders. This is a follow-up meeting to the open house that was held on September 15. While the new rates don’t start until January 2027, you don’t need to wait until then to understand what this means for you.

📅 October 20 at 6:00 PM
📍 Historic City Hall, 31 Church Street
