Qualifications:

Our Central Perk Friday morning coffee deliveries are back for the 2026-27 school year. This team delivered to our District Office.

Fridays are for deliveries; Wednesdays during extended homebase, faculty and staff can stop into Central Perk in person to buy coffee, tea, hot c***r and more. All proceeds from Central Perk are donated.

Our Tray of the Day for Oct. 15 features Cheese Quesadillas, Seasoned Rice, Mexicali Corn, Salsa, Fruit and Milk. If you missed it today, it will be on the lunch menu on Nov. 10, so try it then!

It's Egg Drop Day! Our 8th grade general science students tested their egg safety devices. Students designed their devices using their knowledge from their Force & Motion unit.

Sharing this for the Town of Amherst Youth & Recreation Department! The 3rd annual middle school Halloween Haunted Happenings is Friday, Oct. 23 from 7-9 p.m. Middle School students only, 11-14 years old. Registration is required and open through Oct. 22. Free event - no walk ins allowed. There will be craft activities, 4 square and gaga ball, walk through a haunted house! Held at the Amherst Police Community Policing and Training Facility, 4220 Bailey Avenue. The annual Fall Fest is today - Friday, Sept. 25 - on the Amherst Central High School front lawn. It’s a family event with plenty of activities for children of all ages. It starts at 3:30 p.m. and ends at 7 p.m., just in time to walk over to Dimp Wagner ‘48 Alumni Field for the 7 p.m. varsity football game against Williamsville South High School on our home turf. Elementary students who want to be part of the welcome line on the football field for our Amherst players to run through need to be at the field by 6:30 p.m.

The Fall Fest activities on the high school front lawn include multiple bounce houses for all different age groups, a dunk tank, carnival games and prizes, face painting, balloon animals, and an obstacle course. The Snyder Fire Company and Amherst Police will be there with fire trucks and police cars for the kids to sit in.

All tables and booths are run by our high school students. All activities are free, but it is cash only to purchase pizza, hotdogs, snacks, ice cream and beverages. You will go to a ticket booth to purchase tickets (worth $1) and then take the tickets to the booths you would like to purchase from. Most food items will be priced between $1 to $5.
