🎉 THE PUCKS HAVE DROPPED! 🎉
The Rise & Shine Attendance Challenge may be over, but the celebration is still rolling!

The Rise & Shine Plinko Board made its way to Amherst Middle School and Monelison Middle School, where our 6th graders got their chance to drop a puck and see what prize was waiting for them!

There were plenty of smiles, cheers and “YES!” moments as the pucks made their way down the board! 🙌

But the biggest prize of all? Being in school and making the most of every school day.

The attendance challenge may have been a competition, but showing up matters all year long. Every day in the classroom is another opportunity to learn, connect with friends and teachers, build skills, and keep moving forward.

Keep rising. Keep shining. Keep showing up!
Every Day Counts. Every Drop Wins. 💙

Tuesday Treasure ✨
Growth doesn't happen when everything comes easily. It happens when we stretch ourselves, face challenges and discover that we're capable of more than we thought.

Challenge yourself. Learn from the experience. Keep growing. 💪

“If it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you.”

Today, we recognize Indigenous Peoples’ Day/Columbus Day —an opportunity to reflect on history, honor the diverse cultures and contributions of Indigenous peoples, and continue learning about the many stories that have shaped our nation.

At Amherst County Public Schools, we believe learning from history helps us better understand our world and one another.🌍
