Eastern Idaho is already experiencing extremely dry conditions this season, and it only takes one spark to start a fast-moving wildfire. As temperatures rise and fuels continue to dry out, now is the time to be extra cautious with all outdoor burning.
π₯ Be Responsible
Register your burn and follow local burning regulations.
π§ Be Prepared
Have water, tools, and a plan ready before you light any fire.
π Be Fire Smart
Never leave a fire unattended, and make sure it is completely extinguished β drown it, stir it, and repeat until itβs cold to the touch.
Donβt underestimate the power of a single match. Help protect our communities, farms, rangeland, and firefighters this fire season.
Please contact your local fire department before you burn.
