Tomorrow, voters from District 2 decide who will represent them on the Orange County Board of Supervisors. The seat I hold belongs to the families, workers, and small-business owners from Anaheim, Santa Ana, Garden Grove, Orange and Tustin — and tomorrow, that decision belongs to you.

In lotería, every player has a card. Every card matters. So does every vote.

If you have your ballot at home, drop it off tonight at any Orange County vote center. If not, vote in person tomorrow. Polls close at 8pm.

The county's recent point in time count found that there was a 14% decrease in homelessness. That means that a thousand fewer people are either in shelters or on the street as a result of being unhoused.

We know that our investment in affordable housing in treatment for people who are experiencing behavioral health challenges and substance use disorders is helping.

We know it's not enough and the problem isn't solved because there are still over 6,000 people that are considered homeless. So, we have to continue to do more. Our goal is to make sure that everybody in our county has a place they can call home.

I am thankful to the people who support and stand with my campaign.

The people who build our schools, repair our roads, care for us in hospitals, keep our stores and local businesses running, deliver public services, and run toward danger when the rest of us are running away. These are the people who make Orange County work every single day.

And standing alongside them are labor unions who ensure that workers earn a fair wage, veterans, environmental advocates, small businesses, journalists, attorneys, community leaders, and so many others from every part of this county.

That kind of coalition doesn’t happen by accident. It happens when people know you’ll show up, listen, and stand up for their rights, their livelihoods, and their communities, no matter who they are or where they come from.

I’m incredibly grateful to every person and organization standing with this campaign. Five days to go until Election Day!

The moment the County corruption scandal came to light, I pushed for answers and accountability.

I immediately called it out and addressed it head-on to create real, lasting change. I called for stronger enforcement in the County’s Code of Ethics, tighter protections for whistleblowers so more people can safely come forward, and an external audit of every contract that was “directed or influenced” by those at the center of the scandal.

The people of Orange County deserve to know where their tax dollars went and who benefited from it.

This is not a partisan issue for me. Elected officials should be held to the highest standard. I believe in being accountable to the public, and saying something when others choose to remain silent.

I’ll keep fighting for transparency and honest government every single time.
