As Alaska’s days get darker, visibility is important for everyone traveling outdoors. Whether you’re walking, biking, or driving, we all have a role in keeping our community safe.

🚴For pedestrians and cyclists:
Wear bright or light-colored clothing and reflective gear.
Carry a flashlight or wear a headlamp when it’s dark.
Make sure your bike has working front and rear lights.

🚗 For drivers:
Slow down and stay alert, especially during dawn, dusk, and nighttime.
Take extra caution near intersections and crosswalks.
Give people walking and biking plenty of space.

A little extra visibility, attention, and care can make a big difference. Be seen, stay alert, and share the road safely!
