A little Bulldog spirit made its way to Andalusia Elementary School this afternoon! Our traveling pep rally was full of energy, school pride, and plenty of excitement from our youngest fans.

Construction is underway at Andalusia High School as we begin the next phase of improvements to our campus.

While construction may bring some temporary changes and inconveniences, the lasting impact of these projects will be seen for years to come. These renovations are an investment in our school, our students, and the future of Andalusia City Schools.

Thank you for your patience and support as we work to make AHS an even better place for our students, staff, and community. We look forward to sharing more updates as the projects progress!

Today, some of our Andalusia High School yearbook staff and broadcast members traveled to Troy University for J-Day (Journalism-Day) 2026! Students from across the surrounding counties and Northwest Florida came together for a day of competition, learning, and celebrating student media.

Our Bulldogs represented AHS well and came home with the following awards:
🥇 1st Place – Multimedia Photography
🥇 1st Place – Yearbook Overall
🥇 1st Place – Broadcast Campus Coverage
🥈 2nd Place – Broadcast News Coverage
🥈 2nd Place – Broadcast Overall

Beyond the competition, students had the opportunity to participate in workshops, learn from others, and continue building their story telling skills in journalism, photography, yearbook, and broadcasting.

We are so proud of our students for their creativity, hard work, and dedication to these valued programs in our school! Congratulations to everyone who helped make today a success and to our students on these accomplishments. The future of student media is looking bright at Andalusia High School!

The Bulldogs picked up a win against Ashford last week, and we’re ready to keep that momentum going! We’ll be back on the road this Thursday night in New Brockton for our final game of the regular season.

A few highlights from last week’s game, including some great sunset shots before kickoff. The regular season is winding down, but these sunsets aren’t.

Let’s go, Bulldogs!
