Covington County Cattlemen’s Association sponsored the 4-H Cooking Club tonight! It was so much fun! Mr Cal Norris from Norris Meats came to talk to the kids about the different cuts of BEEF and where they’re located on the cow. We cooked burritos with ground BEEF and they were fabulous! A HUGE thank you to Mr Norris for taking time with the 4-H’ers!

Covington County Cattlemen’s Association held their September 1 members meeting last night with a record crowd. Thank you to all our members, sponsors, and team. Thank you to Chad Clark with SunSouth, Josh Mauldin with the Andalusia co-op, Patrick Kirkland with Big Mike’s, our guest speakers Michael Smith, Corey Hill, and a special congratulations to Miss Sue Capps who is awarded the Alabama Cattlemen’s buckle.
