🏆 JUDGE BRINKMAN CHILD ADVOCATE AWARD RECIPIENT: DR. LAURA STULL

East Central Indiana CASA is honored to recognize Dr. Laura Stull as a 2026 Judge Brinkman Child Advocate Award recipient! ❤️

As Professor of Psychology and Chair of the Department of Psychology at Anderson University, Dr. Stull has spent years taking her work beyond the classroom and into our community.

A significant part of that work has focused on adolescents involved in, or at risk of becoming involved in, the juvenile justice system. For more than a decade, Dr. Stull and her colleagues have partnered with Indiana Juvenile Detention Alternatives Initiative programs to provide Parenting the Teen Brain—helping parents, guardians and other adults better understand adolescent development and build healthier relationships with young people.

At the heart of her work is something we deeply value at CASA: helping young people be understood rather than defined by their circumstances.

We’re excited to celebrate Dr. Stull and her commitment to children and families at Champions for Children: From Scared to SAFE! on October 28. 🌈👠

Come help us honor Dr. Stull and the other incredible people making a difference for children in our community.
