Last night, our Victim Advocates joined Anderson Area Crimestoppers, the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office, Anderson City Police Department, and the Anderson County Coroner’s Office for a candlelight vigil honoring Anderson County crime victims and supporting the families who carry their memory. Senior Assistant Solicitor Stephanie Looper is the 2026 recipient of the Hollings Award for Excellence in Family Court Prosecution. The award is presented annualy to the most outstanding family court prosecutor in the state. Micah E. Black, 10th Judicial Circuit Solicitor, recently presented Steven R. Gambrell, who previously served as an Investigator with the Anderson County Solicitor’s Office for the Tenth Judicial Circuit and now serves as Chief of Police for the Honea Path Police Department, with a plaque recognizing his dedicated service.

The Tenth Circuit Solicitor’s Office serves Anderson County and Oconee County, and Chief Gambrell’s commitment to public service continues to make a positive impact in the communities he serves.
