On a beautiful fall afternoon, Shawsheen Preschool Speech Language Pathologist Michelle Dominguez wowed students with her impressive unicycling skills!

Michelle shared that she first learned to ride a unicycle at age 12 while visiting cousins in Germany. Students enjoyed a front-row seat to the demonstration and learned that talents can take you in unexpected directions... sometimes on one wheel! 👏👏👏

🍎 October is National Principals Month! Our principals are the heart and leaders of their school communities. They inspire students, empower staff, partner with families, solve problems, celebrate successes, and create school environments where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and connected. Their dedication and leadership make a lasting difference in the lives of our students and help make Andover Public Schools the special district it is today.

Traffic alert for Sunday morning 10/18/26: The annual Walk to End Alzheimers is scheduled for Sunday morning, October 18th. The walk steps off around 10:00am. The walk starts and finishes at Brickstone Square. Haverhill Street by Brickstone Square will be closed at the start of the event. The right northbound lane of Rte 28 will be closed from the MBTA bridge to Shawsheen Square due to the volume of walkers. See the photo for the affected roads and please be aware of walkers along the route.

🏀 “How you do anything is how you do everything.” 🏀

The Merrimack College Men’s Basketball Team and Assistant Coach Jimmy Langhurst visited Doherty Middle School this week to share an important message with our 7th grade students: “How you do anything is how you do everything.”

Players and coaches encouraged students to stay focused on their education, work hard, and understand that success in the classroom is the foundation for success in life. They also spent some time on the court connecting with students through the game they love.

Thank you to Coach Langhurst and the Warriors for taking the time to inspire our students! and reinforce the value of staying in school through graduation!
