National School Bus Safety Week | October 19–23, 2026

This week, Georgetown County School District joins schools across the nation in recognizing National School Bus Safety Week.

Every school day, our dedicated bus drivers and transportation staff play an important role in safely transporting students to and from school. Their commitment makes an IMPACT on the lives of our students and families every day!

School bus safety is everyone's responsibility. We encourage all motorists to slow down, stay alert in school zones, and always stop for school buses when their red lights are flashing and stop arms are extended.

Thank you to our transportation team for putting student safety first every mile, every stop, every day!
