✨ Such an exciting opportunity for our sweet town! ✨

Yes, it’s another survey — and that’s because we’re moving forward with YOUR ideas!

The Appalachian Design Center is creating a streetscape plan for Andrews at no cost to the Town, focused on beautifying our historic downtown blocks and the entrances into Andrews from the four-lane.

Think landscaping 🌳, sidewalks 🚶, lighting 💡, signage 🪧, and other improvements that could make the experience of arriving in Andrews and exploring downtown even better.

Now they need to hear from us.

📱 Take the Andrews Streetscape Improvements Survey by scanning the QR code or following the link below — and please share it with your neighbors!

Oakley Lane , we admire your vulnerability, authenticity, and courage. It takes real strength to be this honest, and our community is better because of people like you.

Opening a business and investing in a town is leap of faith and takes guts, smarts, and tenacity. We’re proud of you!

I encourage everyone across the Andrews Valley—and beyond—to stop by, show your support, and celebrate small businesses that pour their heart into this town.

This is what courage looks like. This is what heart looks like.

Andrews — Small Town. Big Dreams. Big Heart.

Small town. Big views. Even bigger heart!

Small town. Big views. That's Andrews, NC.

Nestled in the far western corner of North Carolina, Andrews is the kind of place where mountains rise in every direction and the Valley River winds gently through town.

Adventure is never far away. Pedal the Andrews Valley Rail Tours along historic tracks framed by mountain scenery. Hike the trail at Heritage Park just above downtown, or explore the Valley River by casting a line.

Downtown moves at its own easy pace offering local shops, cozy cafes like Morning Fog Coffee & Eats, and a growing arts scene . The new social district lets you stroll between spots like Hoppy Trout Brewing Company, FernCrest Winery Tasting Room, Snowbird Mountains Brewery, and the The Tattered Tartan Pub without interrupting the vibe.

What really sets Andrews apart? Locals wave, shop owners remember your name, and visitors tend to feel less like tourists and more like neighbors.

Come see why this little mountain town delivers big.
