Lake Erie Beach VFC - It is with sincere sadness of the passing of active firefighter, Robert Pfeffer. Our condolences go out to the family as we keep them in our thoughts and in our prayers. Robert may have only been a member for 3-4 years but he has accomplished many things in the fire service, active EMT, active interior firefighter, driver qualifications and auto exertion. He sat on the board as a financial secretary, he was also a active EMS Lieutenant and fire Lieutenant this year. Rob was a man who put his family first. He worked hard and assisted us at the fire hall. Robert put smiles on people’s faces when he walk in, he was always willing to help out, always wanting to do something or even learn something and that’s hard to find in people anymore. I asked you please honor this man’s service to the fire service. It might not be military, but it’s something to others. Robert will be missed and I will say we are losing one great firefighter, rest in peace my friend till we all meet you again.
