Tomorrow, 10/13/26, crews will focus on Growth Parkway and Wohlert St (between Harcourt Rd and Hoosier Dr)

Road Improvement Notice: Slurry Sealing Project

Beginning Monday, October 12th, the Angola Street Department will have crews in the area completing road improvements by slurry sealing Growth Parking, Nusbaum Dr, E. Felicity St/Redding Road (from S Wayne St to city limits), and Wohlert St (between Harcourt Rd and Hoosier Dr).

All work is weather permitting and schedules may shift if conditions change.

ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE

The City of Angola Street Department will have Calvary Lane closed to all traffic tomorrow, September 24th, between 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM. The closure will be in effect from Beckland Drive to Hammel Drive to allow crews to safely remove dangerous trees in the area.

Please plan an alternate route during these hours. We appreciate your patience and cooperation.

Unfortunately, the 13th Annual Cruise to the Monument scheduled for tonight has been canceled due to inclement weather.

Members of our Angola Engineering & MS4 team recently attended the Elkhart County Soil and Water Conservation District Pay Dirt IN-Field 2026 event to sharpen their expertise in environmental protection and stormwater management. Protecting our local water resources starts right on the job site.

During this hands-on training, staff observed live demonstrations on proper silt fence installation to contain sediment runoff, effective site stabilization techniques to prevent soil erosion, effective construction entrance methods, and correct dewatering methods for active construction sites.

Continuing our education ensures we bring the highest field standards back to our community so Angola's growth goes haCity of Angola Municipality protection!

The Angola Street Department wants to alert residents and drivers that a painting crew will be working throughout town tomorrow, Saturday, August 22nd, starting at 9:00 AM.

Traffic may move slower than usual behind the striping equipment.

Please do not pass the painting vehicles or drive over freshly painted wet lines.

Give workers plenty of space and watch for directional signs and flashing lights.
