With the 2027-28 program year fast approaching, we are excited to announce that the application to serve as Host Organizations for the 18th year of the Thomas V. Mike Miller Jr., Chesapeake Conservation and Climate Corps program is now open! ☀️🔨

By hosting a Corps Member, your team can gain an extra set of hands to support your climate, restoration, energy, agriculture, forestry, community engagement, and/or preK-12 environmental education initiatives across the state of Maryland while you help empower and mentor the next generation of environmental leaders! 🌟🌎

If you or your organization are interested in potentially hosting a Corps Member, make sure to register for our online informational session on Wednesday, October 28th, 2026 from 12:00-1:00pm at the🔗 in our bio and submit an application through the Trust’s online system by 4:00 pm EST on Wednesday, December 2nd, 2026.🕢

✨ It is with immense gratitude that the Corps Program wishes Dr. Jana Davis all the best as she embarks on her next adventure! ✨

From managing the inaugural Corps cohort (back when we were just 3 C’s!) in 2011 to ushering us into our 4 C era, Jana has been a steadfast champion of the Corps program. Over the last 16 years, her leadership, vision, and dedication have helped shape a program that has changed the lives of many young environmentalists across the Chesapeake Bay watershed and her impact will be felt for years to come.

🌷 Join us tomorrow, September 10 at our Green Headquarters (108 Severn Ave, Annapolis, MD 21403) in celebrating Jana and wishing her a joyful, fulfilling, and well-deserved retirement: https://cbtrust.org/celebrating-jana-davis/ 🌷

Tbt to last week when we celebrated our graduating class of 2025-26 and welcomed our new Members and Hosts to the Corps family! 🌱✨

After a day celebrating the accomplishments of our graduates, soaking in the inspiring words shared by our keynote and guest speakers, and starting to build the connections that will carry us through the upcoming year we can officially say the 17th year of the Chesapeake Conservation and Climate Corps program is well and truly underway!

We’re so appreciative of all those in the Corps community who came together to make this day so special and everyday of the Corps program possible! 🌿✨
