A big THANK YOU to Andrews Federal Credit Union for joining the Fort Washington Food Pantry and putting service into action! 💚🙌🏾

Your team rolled up their sleeves and helped us do what we do best—serve our neighbors. This week, together with our incredible volunteer community, we served 188 households and 529 individuals, including 23 households visiting us for the first time.

We had 71 volunteers supporting the pantry throughout the week, and we’re grateful that the Andrews Federal Credit Union team was part of that impact.

Community partnerships aren’t just about showing up—they’re about people and organizations coming together to strengthen the community we all share. We appreciate your time, your energy, and your willingness to serve alongside us. 🫶🏾

We hope to have you back again soon!

💚 Neighbors Feeding Neighbors.

On this day in 1967, Thurgood Marshall took the judicial oath and officially joined the U.S. Supreme Court, becoming the first Black Supreme Court Justice in American history.

Before taking his seat on the nation’s highest court, Marshall spent decades fighting racial segregation and advancing civil rights through the law. He would serve on the Supreme Court for nearly 24 years, from 1967 to 1991.

A barrier broken. A legacy that changed American history.
