๐ŸŒณ Huge thanks to everyone who joined us for National Public Lands Day today at Greenbury Point๐ŸŒณ

Together, our amazing volunteers cleared litter, trimmed overgrown trails, and helped keep our installation looking its best.

Even our leadership got in on the action! You know it's an all-hands effort when the Commanding Officer, Captain LaDonna Simpson, is out on the trails with a trash picker proving that no job is too small and no litter is safe when it comes to taking care of our base. ๐Ÿšฎโœจ

Thank you to all the service members, families, and community members who dedicated their morning to stewardship.

Our lands are cleaner and greener because of you! โš“

โš“ NATIONAL PREPAREDNESS MONTH | WEEK 4

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Annapolis Stand Ready: Know Your Plan

You've checked the weather. You've talked with your family. You've checked on your neighbors.

Now it's time to put it all together.

A good emergency plan should answer three simple questions:

๐Ÿ“ WHERE will you go?
Know your evacuation routes and a safe place to go if you need to leave.

๐Ÿ“ฑ HOW will you communicate?
Have a family communication plan and know where you'll get reliable information.

๐ŸŽ’ WHAT will you need?
Keep an emergency kit with water, food, medications, flashlights, batteries, important documents and other essentials.

For those of us who live and work around Annapolis, preparedness isn't just about protecting ourselves. It's about protecting our families, our neighbors and the community we call home.

September may be National Preparedness Month, but being ready is a year-round mission.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Annapolis stands ready. Do you?

09/14/2026

NSA Annapolis will conduct an installation-wide test of the Giant Voice mass warning system tomorrow, Tuesday, September 15, at 9:40 a.m.

๐Ÿ”Š Both outdoor and indoor speaker systems will be used during the test.

The announcement will clearly state that this is only a test. No action is required.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we test our emergency notification capabilities.
