Always learning to serve YOU best. We met up with Janice Hayes-Williams and Historic Annapolis to learn more about the City and communities we service.

Ms. Hayes-Williams brought our team to the Historic Annapolis museum downtown and to the Maryland State House to learn about Black Annapolitan history. One of our recreation centers, Stanton Community Center, is located in Old Ward 4, a prominent Black community here in Annapolis.

At Annapolis Recreation & Parks we find it important to stay educated, stay aware, and stay humble of our City’s past, present and future. We believe in inclusion and diversity because recreation and parks is for ALL! 💙
