🚧 PUBLIC NOTICE: Sidewalk Renovations at the Ken Joiner Administration Building

Beginning Friday, October 16, sidewalk renovations will take place over the next couple of weeks to improve our main entryways and make visiting the building easier and more accessible for everyone.

While the brick entryways have added character to our building, we recognize they have not always provided the easiest walking surface. Crews will begin removing portions of the sidewalks Friday, with concrete pouring scheduled to begin Monday, October 19th.

🚪 During construction, the main entrance closest to Noble Street—the flat entrance with the ADA-accessible door—will be the only public entrance available.

🅿️ Parking in front of the building will be very limited to Handicap Parking, and some areas may be closed as crews begin demolition. Additional parking is available in the lot off 17th Street and Gurnee Avenue.

Please allow extra time for parking and accessing the building, and use caution around construction areas.

We understand these temporary changes may cause some inconvenience, and we appreciate your patience as we make these improvements. Thank you for bearing with us while we work to better serve our community!
