What an incredible amount of learning, collaboration, and growth we shared this past week at Ansonville Elementary School! 🐾 Our halls and classrooms have been filled with energy and excitement from both our hard-working students and dedicated staff. Our students dove headfirst into dynamic, hands-on learning experiences and worked beautifully together in collaborative groups. Watching them connect, create, and solve problems side-by-side shows just how much they thrive when leading their own learning. 💡🤝 The energy reached an all-time high with our school-wide School Store visits! 🎟️🛍️ Students proudly redeemed the ClassDojo points they’ve earned for showing POWER and making positive choices. Seeing them trade their hard-earned points for really cool items was the perfect way to reward their focus and effort. Looking ahead, we have a busy and exciting week in store for our Panthers! Here is what is coming up:
🗓️ The Week Ahead at Ansonville:
• Parent-Teacher Conferences: We look forward to partnering with our families to discuss and celebrate student progress on Thursday!
• Trick-or-Treating Event: Get ready for some safe, festive fun on Friday! 🎃🍬
• PBIS Incentive Spooky Shuffle: Students are so excited about attending this special fall celebration on Friday. 💃👻

Our Ansonville Elementary Student Media Group deserves a massive round of applause for their incredible leadership leading up to our Reading Night this past week! 🎥📢 A huge shoutout to this amazing crew for going above and beyond to get everyone excited for the event. They designed and created eye-catching signs to wave in the halls, the bus lot, and the car rider line—their energy and dedication were unmatched! They made sure nobody missed out on the fun, and their hard work paid off with a fantastic turnout.
Thank you to our young media leaders for setting such a wonderful example, and thank you to all the families, students, and staff who came out to make the night a huge success. We are so proud of our Panthers! 🐾📚

✒️ History comes alive at Ansonville Elementary School! 📜 Our fantastic 4th graders stepped back in time this week to experience history firsthand. Students traded in their modern pencils and Chromebooks for traditional quills and ink, learning exactly how our nation's founders wrote historic documents like the United States Constitution and the Declaration of Independence.
It takes a lot of patience, precision, and a steady hand to write with a quill—and our students did an incredible job taking on the challenge! We are so proud of their curiosity and hard work as they connected with history in such a unique, hands-on way. Way to go, 4th grade! 🌟

Strong schools and families work together! Parent/teacher conferences are a chance to celebrate progress, talk through questions, and make a plan for each child’s growth.

Thursday, October 22, 2:00–6:00 p.m.
Middle/High Schools ONLY dismiss at 1:00 p.m.

📅 Elementary Schools:
Thursday, October 29, 1:30–5:30 p.m.
Elementary Schools ONLY dismiss at 12:30 p.m.

Schools will share scheduling details soon. If the conference date or time does not work for your family, your school will work with you to arrange another time.

🎉📚 WHAT A NIGHT! 📚🎉
Wow, Ansonville Elementary families, last night’s Reading Night was absolutely incredible! Thank you so much to all of our amazing parents, students, and staff who came out to show such massive support! ❤️
Our school yard was filled with energy and excitement! Here are a few highlights from our fun-filled evening:
📖 Reading Tables: Parents and students loved visiting the different grade-level tables to explore and learn all about our students' amazing reading paths and goals.
🌭 Fall Fun: We loaded up on delicious hot dogs and stayed cozy around the fire pit, enjoying that perfect, crisp fall air together! 🍂🔥
🤠 Boot-Scootin' Stars: Our students absolutely stole the show! They got to show off the fantastic line-dancing talents they’ve been working so hard on in music class with Mr. David.🕺💃

Most importantly, last night was the ultimate celebration of our incredible growth in reading! We are beyond proud to celebrate that Ansonville Elementary is officially in the TOP 50% in the state of North Carolina for growth! 🏆🌟 This is a huge milestone, and it’s all thanks to the dedication of our students, teachers, and supportive families.
Thank you for making last night so unforgettable. We love our Panther family!🐾✨

From math and science to reading and social studies, our Panthers are filled with curiosity and determination across every single subject area. 🧠✨ We are incredibly proud of our dedicated teachers who are bringing their A-game every day. We are also proud of our students who are solving difficult math problems, reading complex texts, learning new vocabulary, exploring in social studies, and experimenting in science.🏫❤️ This month has been all about ENGAGEMENT! Our students aren't just reading or hearing about the world—they are building, experimenting, collaborating, and discovering it for themselves! 🧪📐📚 Thank you to our amazing staff, our hard-working students, and our supportive families for making October such a phenomenal month of growth so far.
