Fall Festivities Across Center! 🎃🍁

Spinelli, North Country, Rex Fortune and Oak Hill Elementary brought their school communities together for fall festivals filled with trunk-or-treat, games, activities, creative costumes and plenty of fall fun! Oak Hill even had a special visit from Dinger, the Sacramento River Cats mascot!

A big thank-you to the PTOs who helped plan and bring these festivals to life! It’s so special to see our students, families and staff come together to make these memories.

Have a safe and happy Halloween to all who celebrate!

Center Spotlight: Officer Jesus Zamudio

Meet Officer Jesus Zamudio, Center Joint Unified School Resource Officer!

A graduate of Pierce High School in Arbuckle, Officer Zamudio earned his Associate of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Woodland Community College before transferring to Sacramento State, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. As a first-generation college graduate and the first in his family to enter the law enforcement and criminal justice field, he is proud to serve as a role model for students.

As a School Resource Officer, Officer Zamudio is committed to maintaining safe campuses while building positive relationships with students. Through mentorship, prevention, and open communication, he strives to create an environment where students feel comfortable approaching him with concerns and know they have someone they can trust.

Thank you, Officer Zamudio, for your commitment to student safety and for helping make our schools a place where every student feels safe and supported. Please join us in welcoming Officer Jesus Zamudio to the district!

What a special night for our Center community!

Our district-wide Homecoming Parade brought our schools together at Center High School for a celebration filled with school spirit and pride. From creative skits and pom-poms to cheers, colorful banners, and handmade signs, our students and staff made every moment special. Seeing all of our schools gathered in one place was truly something to remember!

We celebrated Center High’s Homecoming, cheered on our football team as they gave us a game to remember, and watched the sky light up with fireworks at halftime!

Seeing our schools side by side, sharing in the excitement of Homecoming, made this night one we won’t forget. 💙✨
