Oozing pumpkins, the annual parade next door, co-worker glee, Good Samaritans (!), and pumpkin carving & painting tonight at the Riverfront, with many pumpkins donated to us by McGill & their beautiful patch at 11 Mile. True thanks to the City of Apalachicola, Fl -Government, PALS - Friends of the Apalachicola Margaret Key Public Library, Native Flora, Piggly Wiggly Apalachicola, & Ace Apalach for all the help in making Halloween a holiday of family joy and fun!

From costume shopping to face painting, we've had such fun with Apalach's lil ghouls and goblins this week! Today 10/30, visit STEAM @ 3:30 for oozing pumpkins! Then tonight come out for pumpkin carving and painting @ Riverfront Park from 6-8!

"This isn't 'a few birds'! These are gulls, crows, swifts...!" A perfectly creepy evening enjoying Alfred Hitchcock's 'The Birds'... Huge thanks to PALS - Friends of the Apalachicola Margaret Key Public Library for hosting, especially Rich Lenhart and Bonnie Lewis who brought even creepier decorations. And congratulations to our winners of the movie poster, mug, and bobblehead. ❤ The chirp chirps outside just don't sound quite the same!

Bending and stretching is what it's all about. Join us for Yoga tonight in the library to let your bones get those 'haunted house' creaks out...! Visit at 6pm to lay out your mat and sign our liability waiver. Class starts @ 6:15.

Need to put in some work on that costume for Saturday? Join us at the library today from 1-3 pm as we host another 'Sewing Sunday'! Bring your costume, or any item that needs sewing repair for volunteer assistance using our library's sewing machines, and craft supplies. You can also shop our FREE costume closet with sizes from child-adult, and accessories, too! See you soon!

All are welcome at Apalachicola's first 'Carve by the River' on Friday, October 30th from 6-8pm at Riverfront Park. 30 FREE pumpkins will be available to carve or paint.
