E28, E43, E27, Q40, Truck 30, Apopka E1, Apopka Tower 1, Sq 3, B1, B2, Cpt 1, and Seminole E13 dispatched to auto with entrapment upgraded to house fire. Crews had to work through multiple challenges including a live power line falling on top of first due engine deeming it oos.

E20, E28, R20, CPT1, B2 dispatched to auto accident with entrapment. E20 arrived on scene with one person entrapped. Pt was extricated and transported to hospital.

Engine 28 was invited to attend the Florida Fire Conference today to do some hands on training doing saw work. They were able to work with multiple different saws including circular saws, chain saws, and angle grinders.

Today 28/C shift did some big water and VEIS training. “Firefighting training prepares us for the worst, so we can bring out our best when it matters the most”

Friday 11/24 Q40, E42, E28, Sq3, R40, R42, CPT 1, and B1 were dispatched to a house fire in 40’s first. On arrival Q40 had heavy fire showing on the alpha and bravo side of structure. Crews worked fast to put the fire out with extreme hoarder conditions. This same house was on fire back in October 2019.
