Green Bay and Appleton area chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America.

We believe that the economy, society, and the government should be run democratically by the working class for the good of the working class and not for the benefit of a few. We believe that both the economy and society should be run democratically—to meet public needs and not for profit. To achieve a more just society, many structures of our government and economy must be radically transformed through greater economic and social democracy, as well as the capacity of ordinary Americans to be able to dictate the many decisions that affect our lives and unfairly the lives of regular people around the globe.

Did you know that NEW DSA has a new website? It’s in the process and we are working on additions as well as usability but while we work out the wrinkles we want you to know we finally have a calendar. We will keep it updated and you can subscribe to it if you wish or check it on the regular. As we know more things like specific rooms and zoom links we will update them here. We also have a form for our contact list and some info about NEW DSA. We aren’t abandoning our social media this is just another way to stay in touch and save those dates. https://www.greenbaydsawi.org/calendar

New members are given an intro to NEW DSA sometimes it’s a 1 on 1 sometimes it’s a group. We have fallen way behind. If you have not had an onboarding meeting here’s your chance. Any member that’s joined and not had a meeting is welcome to attend, there will be another opportunity in Appleton in November as well. If you go to the early meeting coffee at Kavarna starts at noon, if you go to the late meeting get coffee first! If you are attending please let us know in the comments. Right now we have plenty of room, but want to be prepared.
