Reading comes to life in second grade! 📚🎃

Our creative second graders had an absolute blast with their Pumpkin Book Character project! They used paint, crafts, and tons of imagination to turn ordinary pumpkins into their favorite storybook characters—no carving required! 🎨✨

We are so proud of our talented young readers and artists!

❄️ Warm Hearts, Warm Winters! ❄️
Our amazing Sandy Slope Student Council is teaming up to help our neighbors in need, and we need YOUR help to make a difference!

This past summer, a devastating tornado swept through our area, and many Menasha students and schools lost everything—including their winter gear. With the chilly weather heading our way, let’s show them the power of our Sandy Slope community! ❤️

We are officially kicking off our Winter Clothing Drive! From now through October 29th, we are collecting new or gently used winter items to keep these kids cozy all season long.

🎒 What we're looking for:
• Jackets & Coats 🧥
• Snow Pants ❄️
• Snow Boots 🥾
• Hats, Gloves, & Mittens 🧤
• Scarves 🧣

📦 How to donate:
Have your student bring their donations directly to their classroom pod. Our incredible Student Council members will be collecting all the items and delivering them at the end of the month! Let’s fill those pods and spread some warmth, Sandy Slope! Thank you so much for your generosity and support!

⚡️ What an absolute blast! We had the best time bringing the energy to Lightning Fest at Appleton North High School!💙💛

A massive thank you for the invite—we were so thrilled to join the carnival fun. Our very own Spark the Lightning Bug had a jam-packed day, starting at our school assembly earlier before flying over to make a special appearance at the festival! ✨

Thank you to the amazing hosts and everyone who stopped by to hang out with us!🧡💛🩵
