Old.Store

Directions

Old.Store Loving our neighbors as ourselves... The Old.Store is located in the former J.D. Howell's family - namely, Mr. Walter Morris (son-in-law), and Mr.

Howell General Store which was built in 1924 and was operated continuously until the early 1990's by members of Mr. Johnny Morris (grandson). At one time, you could buy just about anything you needed at Howell's store. Today the Old Store is once again a gathering place for Appling and the surrounding area. The Appling Archers are headquartered at the Old Store as is the Appling Opry. Events include the Male Sale fundraiser, an annual Bow Shoot Festival, monthly meal for men on the 2nd Monday of each month and the Kiokee Kruser's Krusin. All are welcome...
