MHS really are just the absolute best humans!! ❤️❤️

Throughout September, the Marshall Medical Centers Emergency Medical Services (EMS/HHEMS) team went above and beyond their everyday line of duty by selling Breast Cancer Awareness T-shirts in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, with all proceeds benefiting The Foundation for Marshall Medical Centers’ Mammography Assistance Program.

Thanks to the incredible support of their team, nearly 100 shirts were sold and more than $700 was raised to help provide access to mammograms for women in our community.

“We are incredibly proud of the support shown by our EMS team and appreciate the opportunity to give back to an organization that makes a difference in our community,” said Chasity Garmany, MPA, NRP, FP-C, Field Operations Supervisor, Marshall Medical Centers EMS/HHEMS.

We are grateful for the EMS/HHEMS team for the work they do every day to care for our community, and for the many ways they continue to go above and beyond to make a difference. Thank you for helping make a difference in the lives of local women!

🚨 Huge thanks to our amazing EAP, Julianna! 🚨

​We are beyond grateful and excited to have had the opportunity to learn from the best! A massive thank you to Julianna for leading an incredibly impactful session with our team today.
​Julianna walked us through the vital role of real-scenario training—showing us firsthand how practicing realistic, high-pressure situations builds the muscle memory and confidence needed when real crisis calls come in.
​Even more importantly, she shined a crucial light on the mental health effects of being a 911 dispatcher. Dispatchers are the true first, first responders, listening to people on the worst days of their lives. Taking care of the mind behind the headset is just as critical as answering the call, and Juliana’s guidance on resilience, peer support, and mental wellness gave us tools we’ll carry with us every shift.
