We’re getting down to the final few weeks of the AGFD Ranger Raffle!

If you’re interested in getting tickets, please reach out to any AGFD firefighter. All proceeds from the raffle go directly toward new equipment for the department.

We really appreciate everyone who has supported us this first year, whether you bought tickets, helped sell them, or simply shared the raffle. It means a lot to our department and our community.

Thanks again for all the support.

Support the Arcadia Glencoe Fire Department’s First-Ever Ranger Raffle!

We are excited to announce our first-ever Ranger Raffle, and we need your help to make it a success!

With over $25,000 in prizes, including the Grand Prize of a brand-new 2026 Polaris Ranger 1000, this is a great chance to win while supporting a very important need for our department. With only 2,500 tickets being sold, your chances of winning are better than most raffles!

Tickets are:
• $25 each
• 5 for $100

All proceeds from this raffle will go directly toward the purchase of a new tender. This truck will replace our aging front-line tender and allow our current tender to transition into our backup after 27 years of service. Having reliable equipment is critical to our ability to respond and continue protecting Arcadia and the surrounding communities.

The winning tickets will be drawn LIVE during our October Fire Department meeting.

Tickets can be purchased by reaching out to any Arcadia Glencoe firefighter. We will also have a booth selling tickets throughout Ashley for the Arts, so stop by, and get your tickets for a chance to win!

On behalf of the entire Arcadia Glencoe Fire Department, thank you for your continued support of our volunteers and our department. The support we receive from this community is what allows us to continue serving and improving the equipment we rely on every day.

We appreciate your support, and we wish everyone the best of luck!

***POST EXPIRED*** A strong to severe storm threat is increasing across NE Iowa and SE Minnesota this morning. Large hail and some damaging winds will be possible with the strongest storms.

04/13/2026

There is an enhanced (Threat Level 3 out of 5) risk for severe storms this afternoon and into the late evening for areas along and north of Interstate 90. Storms will likely develop north of an Owatonna to Winona, MN line and move to the east/northeast, quickly becoming severe. Large hail and heavy rain will be the primary threat with these storms, however damaging wind gusts and a tornado or two are also possible. Be sure to stay weather aware and take shelter as storms approach!
