Help us celebrate our Teacher and Staff Members of the Month!

⭐ Teacher of the Month: Mrs. Melka | 8th Grade Science

Mrs. Melka, we’re so glad you’re part of Harpool! Thank you for the time, effort, and heart you put into teaching our students. The work you do each day matters, and we’re grateful for the care you bring to your classroom.

⭐ Staff Member of the Month: Mr. Holmes | ISS Teacher

Mr. Holmes, thank you for being someone our students can count on. Working with students in ISS takes patience, understanding, and a willingness to meet kids where they are. We appreciate all the ways you show up for our Longhorns, even in the moments that others may not see.

We’re lucky to have people like Mrs. Melka and Mr. Holmes in our Harpool family! Thank you both for all you do for our students and for being such an important part of our campus.

October is Principal Appreciation Month

There’s something special about a leader who makes people feel like they belong and that is one of the things we appreciate most about Mr. Taylor.

He goes above and beyond to make our staff feel seen, supported, respected, and trusted. He gives people the confidence and freedom to lead in their classrooms, encourages new ideas, and has a way of making everyone feel like their voice matters. He doesn’t just lead our school he creates space for others to lead, too.

Mr. Taylor, thank you for the little things, the big things, and all the things in between. Thank you for genuinely caring about the people who make Harpool what it is. We are lucky to have you leading our Longhorn family.

Harpool staff, students, and families if Mr. Taylor has made a difference for you, we’d love for you to take a moment to tell him in the comments. Let’s fill this post with a little of the appreciation he gives to others every day!
