Thank you to everyone who joined us for story time this morning! We loved spending time with you!

Don’t forget to join us next Wednesday for another story time, followed by our Family Play Date with REACH tiny-k Infant Toddler Services. We’ll enjoy stories, songs, and lots of fun, plus an opportunity to chat with speech therapist Sara Hayhurst about your toddler’s development.

The first Resource Day, hosted by RISE Cowley and Legacy's Cowley Acts/Families Gaining Ground committee, will be on Saturday, October 3, at Winfield Public Library! Individuals who would like one-on-one help with any of the participating agencies, may do so between 10am - 1pm.

The next one-on-one resource assistance day will be in Ark City on February 6, 2027. For more information about upcoming Resource Days, please check the comments section in this post.

The purpose of these events is to create additional access to resources in one place. 🙏

Meet face-to-face with representatives from Community Health Center in Cowley County, DCF, Eagle Nest Inc, Helping Hands, Kansas Workforce, Orion, Sheila's Giving Closet, a Ministry of Faith Ignited Church, Winfield Community Food Pantry -Winfield, KS, Winfield Area Habitat for Humanity, and the Winfield Literacy Collective.

Thank you to everyone who made it to our rock painting program! We look forward to adding them to our garden! Our next Kids Rock Painting Program will be on October 19th at 4:00. We hope to see you then!

Quick reminder! Our Kids Rock Painting Program is coming up on Monday the 21st!

Kids will have the chance to paint rocks with a book-themed design, which we’ll use to decorate the flower beds around our library.

Pre-outlined rocks will be available for those who want a little inspiration, but kids are encouraged to get creative and draw inspiration from their favorite books and stories!
