TRAINING DAY!!! Saturday morning we had a great opportunity to join multiple agencies in a “Back to Basics” training event. And by basics we mean it. Some of the most basic dive skills are often overlooked and neglected as part of routine training. We spent a few minutes covering skills such as mask clearing, mask removal and reg retrieval. We the moved to some more common skills we use in the PSD world such as line tending, search techniques and cadaver recovery. I’d like to say thank you to everyone who made the sacrifice to show up and participate in this training. Every effort to improve and be ready to answer the call to services is noticed and greatly appreciated!!! A few teams attending was Winston County Search and Dive, Morgan County Rescue Squad and others.

Another view from under the pier we did some work on this week. Still can’t believe how clear it is at Guntersville.

We found the culprit. Not sure what that little filter is for but the gasket on top definitely wasn’t doing its job. After several hours of plugging holes and covering vents we got the boat lifted and the leak stopped. Another happy customer!!

SANK BOAT!!!! Got a boat sitting on bottom in the slip. I have to say I’m blessed to get to do all the things I do. We work hard to provide quality service and knowledgeable experience in every situation we find ourselves in. Just another amazing day on the water!!

Here fishy fishy 🤣. Doing a little swim through and checking everything out before we start cutting stuff up and making a mess.

This is the clearest I’ve ever seen the water in Guntersville. We had a few long days and got a lot done. Always a pleasure working at North Alabama Sailing Marina.

Got a call all the way up above Iuka Mississippi around Pickwick lake. Since we were already cleaning a boat not too far away we hoped on over for the rescue. Pretty quick dive with a quick prop inspection for the customer. Always a pleasure being contacted from new location.

Hard to get good video while scrubbing a boat under water. But just to show what this little scrubber will do I got a few clips worth showing.
