GOAT of the Week: Miss Spridco!

Miss Spridco is one of our 2nd-grade reading teachers who truly cares about her students and the people around her. She takes the time to build relationships with her students and staff, and she is not afraid to speak up and advocate for what students need.
And let's talk about how willing she is to help! Whether it's Battle of the Books, morning announcements, or something else we need help with, Miss Spridco jumps right in! If we ask, she is ready to help, and we appreciate that about her.

Miss Spridco, thank you for loving on our Hawks, advocating for students, supporting your colleagues, and being willing to help in so many ways. We appreciate all that you bring to our Hawk Family!

Shout out to Mrs. Berk and our K–2 teachers for starting their morning with some intentional data diving!

I love seeing our teachers come together to have meaningful conversations about student progress, identify areas of need, and make intentional instructional decisions.

It's not just about looking at the data, it's about what we do with it to ensure our students are growing and learning.

Thank you, Mrs. Berk and our K–2 team, for continuing to put students first and doing the work that makes a difference!

This week’s GOAT is Ms. Atmore!

Ms. Atmore wears many hats at Glenn Harmon! She serves as our SPED Team Lead and Campus KEEPS Advisor, but her contributions don't stop there!
Ms. Atmore is a familiar, smiling face around our campus and is always willing to lend a helping hand. Whether it's supporting her SPED team, answering questions, sharing her knowledge, or helping with something that wasn't even on her to-do list, she is always willing to pitch in. Even with plenty on her own plate, she finds ways to support those around her. We appreciate Ms. Atmore for the many ways she supports our students, staff, and campus. Her kindness, leadership, positive attitude, and willingness to help make a difference. So much of what she does happens because she sees a need and steps in, and we want her to know those efforts do not go unnoticed!

Congratulations, Ms. Young!

We are excited to celebrate Mrs. Young, one of our amazing 1st grade teachers, as this week’s GOAT! Mrs. Young loves hard, keeps us laughing, and brings so much of herself to our Hawk Family. Right now, math is definitely her jam, but whether she is teaching math, reading, science, or anything in between, she is committed to making sure her littles get what they need. She knows her students, advocates for them, and works hard to help them learn and grow. She is also a team player who supports her 1st grade team, shares ideas, and does her part to ensure they succeed.
Mrs. Young, we appreciate your humor, your heart, and all that you do for your students, your team, and our campus
