Kids do better in school when they are healthy and able to focus. Public health supports children from early development through the school years. The Parent-Infant Education program helps families with young children who have developmental delays or medical conditions. The School Health Program provides screenings, care, vaccines, and health information so students are ready to learn.

When families have food and support, kids do better and parents have one less thing to worry about. WIC supports pregnancies and families with children under age 5. We provide free food, nutrition education, breastfeeding help (including pump loans), immunization checks, and referrals.
