Most of you know my chapter here as your local recruiter is coming to an end.

📌With that being said, the number on Google for your local area USAF/USSF recruiter remains the same and will put you in touch with the closest recruiter in the canton area.

📌If you are one of my Airmen/Recruits, and you’re interested in participating in the RAP (Recruiter Assistance Program), please contact my usual number or if you email me, I will have an automatic reply with whom to reach out to via email.

📌For my current folks that are waiting to leave, I’ll still be working with you intermittently for ship day briefings, DEP meetings, etc. until I leave in a few weeks.

Juniors!!! Did you know you can start the process of enlistment into the USAF and reserve a job as early as April!??? That’s thinking ahead for your career plans if you ask me.

We are honored we got to participate in Wreaths Across America to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice to serve and protect the freedoms we all get to enjoy today. The Perry Rotary club, VFW, and local community all came out together to lay handmade,fresh Basalm wreaths on the headstones of US veterans to show them our gratitude. It’s tradition to say the name of the service member you’re honoring as you place the wreath. It’s been said that “a person dies twice. Once when they actually die, and then again when you say their name.” Saying their name out loud ensures their memory lives on. Over 2 million wreaths are placed nationally and at this Cavalry Cemetery, 2300 wreaths are placed.

From this day forward, this will always be our family tradition. I’m excited to include my daughter in these important things as a teaching moment so she’s aware of how important history is.

I’m grateful for this organization and all the volunteers from the individuals who make the wreaths, to the ones who deliver the wreaths, to the people who come our place the wreaths in all kinds of weather conditions.
