We're excited to partner with Division Brewing to sell some of our used books at their location. Look for the book shelf near the front entrance. They have plenty of books for only $3. A portion of the proceeds benefits the Arlington Public Library. The best beer, burgers, and pizza in Arlington, and it all goes well with a great read.

Spring time means spring cleaning!
Once again, FFAPL is asking for your generous donations of books, music, videos, puzzles & games for our May Donation Drive. All donated items will go to our next big sale in September. Come visit us at our warehouse.

Last week was Library Appreciation Week! To celebrate, FFAPL board members visited each branch with gifts of sweet treats and gift cards for every team member who works so hard to make our libraries a great place to be. We love our librarians!

Member day at the Book Sale is going strong! Come and see us and grab some great things for your summer reading shelf! The sale is open today until 7:00 at First United Methodist Church of Arlington. Not a member yet? Memberships are available on site!

Member preview day at the sale is Tuesday! Memberships will be available on site. Something new for this sale - we'll have food trucks on site in the morning, ready to serve breakfast tacos and coffee. See you there!

The Friends and Foundation of the Arlington Public Library (FFAPL) has three goals:

(1) Bring together people who share an interest in libraries.

(2) Promote public awareness and community support for the Library system.

(3) Encourage gifts and fundraising activities that benefit the Arlington Public Library System.

So much of what we do centers around our semi-annual book sales, one in the spring and one in the fall. The event brings together book lovers across North Texas who are in search of great deals. It becomes a space for promoting the library, and the money we raise directly benefits the Arlington Public Library and its programs.

None of this is possible without your support. 

If you can volunteer, even for a few hours, that would be great. But regardless, we hope to see you at our spring book sale, ready to load up on some books with the best deals in Texas.
