North Texas will host the first of nine World Cup matches on June 14. With increased travel expected on match days, now is a great time to start planning how you’ll move around the region.
Here’s a checklist that can help you get ready:
- Plan your commute days ahead of time
- Coordinate with your workplace on match days to adjust your schedule accordingly
- Keep your eye on the expected traffic times during match days
- Combine trips and reduce unnecessary driving during match days
- Drive friendly, many roads users might be from outside our region and unfamiliar with our roadways
- Remember: if you’re a regular TRE rider, you may see fuller trains and longer wait times
