Several members have dislocated shoulders from raising the cards.
Others of us have sobered up, it’s rough but we have a duty…

🏫 Superintendent seeks $250M to refurbish and expand TJ, Swanson middle schools

Superintendent Francisco Durán has proposed a $250 million plan to renovate and expand Thomas Jefferson and Swanson Middle Schools, with the projects relying on nearly $500 million in bonds to be approved over several referendums between now and 2034. While Durán emphasizes improvements to aging infrastructure rather than increasing capacity, the plan has drawn concerns from School Board members and the community regarding its scope, prioritization of projects, and financial implications.
