The Northeast Georgia Health System created HOPE (Healthy Outcomes and Positive Experiences) for Georgia Moms to improve maternal health outcomes and promote equitable care. One initiative of HOPE for Georgia Moms is the Maternal Cardiac Program whose mission is to screen, monitor, and provide targeted care to pregnant women at risk of cardiovascular events before, during, and after pregnancy.

Call for CPHN Study Material Volunteers

As part of its mission to strengthen and professionalize the public health workforce, the National Board of Public Health Examiners (NBPHE) will be launching the Certified in Public Health Nursing (CPHN) Certification Program in late 2026! To support candidate exam prep, we invite public health nurses to apply to develop the CPHN certification study materials, including writing practice exam items, writing study guide chapters, creating review session slides and presenting. The application deadline is May 31, 2026.
