The ACS Aviators had their first meeting today! Students learned the basics of operating drones, safety measures, and were able to run a few test flights. The best part? Getting to create their own call signs!

🎶🎤 Can You Match That Pitch?!? 🎤🎶

We've got some future SUPERSTARS in the making at Donelson Elementary! 🌟

Our young musicians have been putting their ears AND their voices to the test as they try to match the pitches in Dolly Parton's wonderful song, "I Believe in You!" 🎵

👂 Listen carefully!

🎶 Find that note!

🎤 Now SING IT!

Some notes are easy to catch...others take a little extra effort! But that's what makes learning music SO MUCH FUN! 😄

And the best part? While we're having a BLAST, we're building important musical skills along the way!

Big voices, little voices, and LOTS of musical magic happening in Mr. Sims' music room! 🎶🐯

PE was "out of this world" today! Students participated in Cosmic Bowling, working on form, trajectory, and force.

The Donelson Dash was a fun, energizing day! Students, staff, and families came together to enjoy dashing, cheering each other on, and, most of all, spraying our loved ones with silly string! Thank you to everyone who made this happen!
