that just 6 inches of flood water can knock a person down, or that two feet of water can sweep a car away? Never travel through flood waters. It's not worth the risk!

We really appreciate our residents and the interest they continually show in wanting to make Arlington prepared and ready for any emergency. Last night we saw this firsthand as a group of residents successfully completed the "First 15" at Rock Spring Church. This course empowers residents to be more prepared for emergencies and to provide life-sustaining care to themselves and others while waiting for first responders. Learn more: https://bit.ly/3V5ZvYi

Always share your location first when you call or text 9-1-1 so we can send help even if we're disconnected. Share cross streets or nearby businesses, schools, or other landmarks if you don't know your address.
What details in this pic would be helpful to share your location?
