Hosting our 59th blood drive alongside the incredible teams at Sunrise Rotary Club Arlington, Prosperity Bank , and DFP International was a beautiful reminder of what happens when we come together. To everyone who rolled up their sleeves: those 42 units of blood are moving directly into the hands of trauma victims, brave patients battling cancer, and neighbors undergoing life-saving surgeries.

Treatment improves children’s growth and learning:
Children infected with Bilharzia may suffer from chronic fatigue, malnutrition, impaired cognitive and physical development, stunted growth, anaemia, and weak immune system.

Therefore, praziquantel treatment helps improve energy levels, school attendance, and academic performance among students.

To end bilharzia, treatment is the best bet plus + health education and behaviour change communication on the disease prevention.

HDNP Africa in Partnership with CVCO have successfully implemented the Phase 1 of our Bilharzia prevention education program in mafi tsetsekpo, volta region

In this first phase, we were able to:

1. Mount two warning sign posts by the river
2. host a film show for pupils in mafi tsetsekpo
3. Distribute treatment medication (praziquantel) to 127 students and 3 teachers

HDNP International going to be Congratulate to the entire Texas Nepalese Medical Association (TNMA) and Himalaya Health Clinic (HHC) team on a highly successful 2026 Gala! The evening, hosted locally at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Grapevine, was an incredible showcase of community impact, featuring live speakers, cultural performances, and vital fundraising.
