Concerned Veterans for America By veterans, for America. Shaping a freer, more secure society where Americans are empowered to achieve their American Dream.

We are a movement by veterans, for all Americans. CVA is a non-profit, non-partisan advocacy organization dedicated to inspiring veterans to continue their service through shaping a freer, more secure society where Americans are empowered to achieve their American Dream. Through community-building efforts, the organization amplifies veterans' unique perspectives to influence policy in areas that impact all Americans. We believe veterans and their communities are a positive force to lead on and tackle the challenges America faces. For those who feel let down by their elected leaders, discounted by the political process, and/or helpless to impact change, CVA offers an avenue to be heard, serve your community, and help empower your fellow Americans to drive liberty-based solutions and advance freedom. CVA delivers people-empowering solutions rooted in liberty-based principles to tackle issues Americans face. By elevating veterans’ unique perspectives and trusted leadership, CVA builds engaged communities equipped to inspire action, amplify concerned voices, and help improve American lives. In short, we bring the veteran’s unique perspective and experiences to the conversation to shape legislation and impact policy decisions.

VA ratings are changing regardless of whether the Take Care of America’s Veterans Act is passed or not.

With the legislation, the savings are reinvested to help veterans with mental health care needs.

Without the legislation, the savings go back to Washington bureaucrats.

Finding a therapist who’s taking new patients is a real struggle for families across America. Government-run health care won’t add providers; it will add a waitlist.

Veterans know this firsthand. They get faster mental health care when they can see community providers rather than just waiting on the VA. That’s the lesson for the whole health care debate: more than one open door.

Every American deserves that flexibility. Do you or someone you love have a story about finding mental health care? Share it below.

America needs more energy.

Wars abroad show why.

Market shocks, conflict, and slow permitting at home send us shopping for energy overseas, pulling us deeper into foreign conflicts while funding war through energy sales.

Diesel sales should be made here in the United States instead, but a slow, painful permitting process is preventing that, driving up your energy bills.

Many veterans are still waiting an average of 2 months just for routine dental appointments.

Expanded access to community care can reduce wait times. But Congress needs to pass legislation now to make easy access to care a reality.

Happy 251st birthday, U.S. Navy! ⚓

Today we honor the sailors, past and present, who have defended our freedom at sea since 1775. Thank you for your service, courage, and sacrifice.

Fair winds and following seas.

Today marks the 25th anniversary of the Afghanistan war, a nearly two-decade-long occupation that instead should have been a swift operation.

Thousands of U.S. troops died during that period. Mothers, fathers, sons, and daughters.

May we remember the sacrifices they made.

Paul "Pigsty' Meisenbach served in the jungles of Vietnam. When the war ended, his service didn’t. He found community at CVA.

He was one of our most dedicated champions in Pennsylvania, and CVA honors his service by ensuring his legacy carries on.
