4 years ago, thousands of us marched in downtown Fort Worth and millions across the world. Now more than ever Texans need to come together and say Enough is Enough.
Arlington Area Texas Democratic Women is finally meeting in person, Thursday May 12 at El Ranchito at 3517 S. Cooper. Come at 6 to order dinner and drinks. We will discuss the recent city elections and runoff, the threat to reproductive rights, future meeting topics and speakers, donations to candidates, collaboration with other area groups, and a fall fundraiser cookout. Chris Turner will be guest speaker at our Arlington Area Texas Democratic Women (formerly GAMDW) Zoom meeting this Thursday. Looking forward to hearing him speak on the legislative session, redistricting, and other topics.
We are sad to report that our treasurer, Susan Hughes' husband, Michael Henderson, passed away recently. His memorial service will be January 1 from 2-4 at the Vineyard Church at 1301 W. Abram in Arlington. In lieu of flowers, donations to Tarrant County Meals on Wheels--where Michael volunteered--would be appreciated.
