Troop 127 enjoyed a relaxing campout at Lake Whitney State Park, TX. Great weather, good food and singing around the campfire! Fun times with our Scout Family.

Congratulations to John on leading a great Eagle 🦅 Project! Day 1, John led the Scouts in the creation and building of natural log bird feeders. The Scouts learned about all the different wood hand tools. Day 2, John led the Scouts in the cleanup and removal of vines at the Bird Watching area at River Legacy Nature Center. As well as creating two habitats for the baby birds to hide in. Then the hanging of the natural log bird feeders.
So proud of John for leading our Scouts today and improving this natural birding area.

Canoeing 🛶 down the Brazos River, camping 🏕️ , cooking outdoors, & campfire Peep S’mores.

Troop 127 is keeping the Outing in Scouting! The Scouts enjoyed a beautiful day at the park while having a Dutch Oven Cook Off!
They worked well together in teams and liked trying each other’s savory dishes and sweet desserts recipes.
Can’t wait for the next campout to try more recipes 😋!

Troop 127 had beautiful weather today for our Conservation Project at the Monastery in Arlington. Cut back and cleared out lots of vines and branches. Picked up trash. Thanks to all the volunteers who helped out today.
