Collaboration and learning go hand in hand.

Commissioner Kim Klingler was honored to partner with Fredericksburg Commissioner of Revenue Tamara Stuart for FXBG Commissioner of Revenue to host the Commissioners of the Revenue Association of Virginia (CORVA) Northern District Spring Meeting at the Fredericksburg Nationals' Ballpark in Fredericksburg.

The meeting brought together Commissioners of the Revenue and tax professionals from across the region to discuss emerging issues, legislative updates, economic development, tax administration, and opportunities for collaboration.

Thank you to our speakers, sponsors, and attendees for making this year's meeting a success. We especially appreciate the participation of Mayor Kerry Devine, Delegate Paul Krizek for Virginia, Delegate Joshua Cole, Lieutenant Governor Ghazala Hashmi, Juan Rengel of the Northern Virginia Cigarette Tax Board, our lunch sponsors Taxing Authority Consulting Services, and the many local officials who contributed to meaningful discussions throughout the day.

We look forward to continuing these important conversations and strengthening partnerships across Virginia and thank you to everyone for attending and making this a productive and informative meeting!

A new regional partnership is underway!

Arlington County's Office of the Commissioner of Revenue has officially joined the Northern Virginia Cigarette Tax Board (NVCTB), strengthening collaboration with local jurisdictions across the region to support cigarette tax compliance, enforcement, and fair administration.

Our team recently visited the NVCTB office to commemorate the addition of Arlington County Virginia – Government and County of Warren, VA as the board's newest members and meet with board representatives. We look forward to working alongside our regional partners to support effective tax administration throughout Northern Virginia.

Investing in the next generation of entrepreneurs! πŸ’Όβœ¨

COR Team members recently joined Arlington County Parks and Recreation's StART Entrepreneurs program to share information about business licenses, local business requirements, and resources available to help entrepreneurs succeed.

The following evening, we had the opportunity to visit the program's jewelry store pop-up and meet the talented young entrepreneurs putting their new skills into practice.

We are grateful for this partnership that allows us to help empower future business owners and foster entrepreneurial learning in our community!

Vehicle Personal Property (VPP) Assessment Letters begin mailing today. These are not bills.

They show:
βœ” What vehicles are on your account
βœ” The assessed value of each vehicle

From there, you can review your information, make updates if needed, or use our Vehicle Tax Estimator to get an estimate of your bill before they are issued in August. You can access our estimator tool on our website.

Questions? We’re here to help.

Project Peace's 20th Anniversary Celebration was a great opportunity to connect with partners and celebrate the impact of their work in our community.

Commissioner of Revenue Kimberley Erin Klingler joined fellow constitutional officers, Jose Quiroz, and Parisa for Justice, along with Arlington County Board member, JD Spain, Sr. for Arlington County Board to recognize the importance of prevention, education, and support services in Arlington.

Staying engaged in these conversations helps ensure our work reflects and supports the needs of our community.

A great day of service with our community.

Our team joined the Arlington Chamber of Commerce - Virginia Volunteer Day and volunteered with True Ground Housing Partners, helping organize pantry items, refresh storage spaces, sort books, and prepare supplies for residents.

Thank you to the Chamber for organizing such a meaningful day, to True Ground Housing Partners for welcoming us, and to Crystal City Sports Pub for hosting the kickoff.

A meaningful day of service and a great example of what partnership looks like in action.
