On October 6, the 2025 Marshals Golf Classic, underwritten by Heritage Health Solutions, was held at the Lansdowne Resort and Spa in Leesburg, VA. This is the largest annual fundraiser held by the Survivors Benefit Fund and this year's event was outstanding. A full field of over 250 golfers on two courses enjoyed the beautiful weather. Golfers enjoyed breakfast before golf, lunch on the course, dinner during the awards program, and a goodie bag with various golf and clothing items. The awards program included presentations by the Honorable Gadyaces S. Serralta, Director of the United States Marshals Service, and line of duty death surviving spouse Kelly Weeks. The U.S. Marshals Survivors Benefit Fund Pipes and Drums Band was also on hand to play off the golfers and start the awards program! Thank you to all of our sponsors, volunteers, golfers, and supporters who joined us for this special event! Honor the Fallen! πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ’™

April 29, 2025 is the one-year anniversary of a tragic event which took place in Charlotte, NC involving the U.S. Marshals Service's Carolinas Regional Fugitive Task Force.

One year ago, four law enforcement heroes made the ultimate sacrifice during the service of an arrest warrant for a wanted felon. The fallen included: Deputy U.S. Marshal Tommy Weeks, Special Deputy U.S. Marshal Sam Poloche of the North Carolina Department of Adult Correction, Special Deputy U.S. Marshal William Elliott of the North Carolina Department of Adult Correction, and Special Deputy U.S. Marshal Joshua Eyer of the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department.

The U.S. Marshals Survivors Benefit Fund responded to this tragedy within days of the event and was honored to provide financial assistance to all four families. This was made possible by the support that you have provided to the Fund. So while we remember and honor these four heroes, we also say thank you. It is only through your continued support that the Fund will be there for the next tragedy which will unfortunately occur despite our most fervent wishes otherwise.

Please keep the families, friends, and colleagues of these four heroes in your thoughts and prayers. Also, remember the important work that our law enforcement brothers and sisters are doing every day.
