I am honored that Cristina for Arlington School Board and I will join Monique O'Grady, Barbara Kanninen, and Reid Goldstein as members of the Arlington County School Board! I am humbled by this outpouring of support and want to take a moment to thank Symone for Students and her team for a substantive campaign. Looking to the future, I am excited to collaborate with Cristina and the other board members to continue building a collaborative framework for education governance--where all stakeholders are earnestly heard--as we shape a better, more equitable, and transparent APS.

At last – one week away! We are in the homestretch and we need to keep the momentum going. One more phone call, one more text message, one more ride to the polls. Every action counts.

As you know from following the campaign on social media, I have been at the polls for early voting almost every day since it opened. I have congratulated first time voters, reacquainted with classmates I have known for years, seen people I met on zoom calls for the first time, etc. It has been a great experience. Now, I’m asking one last time to please donate to the campaign. I have a last push for text messaging, phone banking, yard sign replacements, and advertisements. If you can give $25, $50, or more, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Let’s win this!

Change You Can See!

Hello, I’m David Priddy and I am running for the Arlington County School Board.

Like you, I am passionate about achieving a quality 21st century education for all of our children in Arlington. I would like your vote in the June Democratic Caucus to be your voice on the Arlington County School Board. A native Arlingtonian, I attended Arlington Public Schools (APS): Long Branch Elementary, Thomas Jefferson Middle School, and Wakefield High School. I graduated from James Madison University in 1996 with a degree in History. Shortly thereafter, I met my future wife, Melanie.

I would like to serve on the Arlington County Public School Board because I believe we can do better. I’ll help continue to build a stronger foundation for education in our county with greater transparency, a true collaboration with teachers and the community. I would like to help forge the outstanding Arlington School system that awaits us. It is with dedication and humility that I seek your vote for the Arlington County School Board.
