Dead Locations of the United States of America

Dead Locations of the United States of America

Share

This is a tributary site about ANY general "Dead Malls" or "Abandoned/Closed/Demolished Locations". Any media is allowed as belongs as it is not inappropiate.

If you have stories, locations, pictures, videos or any media regarding dead malls, post it here. This is being created to let people be recognized what is happening to our business districts. (Nudity, etc.) I made this page to help save malls around the USA, and some around the world!!! We also do other abandoned areas as well. Note: The hours for this site are when I am available for messaging and calls.

I have had this page for a while and I've run out of ideas for what I previously did with this page, and it's been since late 2016 that I have posted anything new. So I have decided to try something a bit different for now. So, I use Google Maps a LOT, like for hours and hours, months worth of hours I would say, and have found many abandoned or now demolished properties, but some of these have little to no information even looking online or through TAD's information.

So I have thought about making a page to post pictures and information about these places in order to not only find out names and such info to these places, but also for people to share any memories, reviews, thoughts, or history about places like these. Abandoned houses, motels, retail/office buildings, and the like as well as demolished properties of the same that used to exist will be mainly what I plan to cover for this.

I will also be considering making content like this about currently active places that are still around but have existed since at least before the 1980's and are still active today. Many older motels in the DFW area fall under this category but I would also try to include other structures like old houses, industrial buildings, and the like in that as well. But the main focus would be the old abandoned and/or demolished places.

There aren't very many info pages from what I have tried to look up for these type of things unless the property in question has had some kind of historical significance. I hope this becomes an enjoyable activity for this page and anyone who would like to figure this stuff out along with me.

Thank you for reading this small update. Will probably start posting this new "series" of content very soon! Hope you all enjoy it! ~Ray

We may have gotten one of our actual pictured Labelscars on the Six Flags Mall Sears Wing. Its on the side along with the Foleys, and it wasnt very hard to find. If you can see the old Sears logo, like the picture!
