We are very proud to announce that for the fourth consecutive year (fiscal year that ended Aug. 31, 2025), we achieved a 100 “A” rating for “Superior Achievement” under the School FIRST (Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas). This is the state’s highest rating.
It demonstrates the quality of Arp ISD’s financial management and reporting system.
The “A” rating is due to successful efforts of the Board of Trustees, administration (incl. Arp ISD CFO Abby Suggs), faculty & staff of Arp ISD. These groups have successfully utilized resources available to the district to provide a quality education to the students of Arp ISD. We are committed to continuing the efficient and effective use of all resources to maintain the superior rating in the future.

WHAT AN HONOR: Our Arp Jr. High art classes were asked Wednesday to decorate a Christmas ornament that will hang on a big Christmas tree at the Texas State Capitol this holiday season.
Mr. Robert Bennett, the District Director for State Rep. Daniel Alders brought the ornament & presented it to our art teacher Mrs. Mary Lou Bauer, and a few of her students.
